Next Monday, I'll be doing a live session on Tuck Everlasting. I'll outline the key parts of the book, and then explain why I think it's a classic. I hope you enjoy the session. Afterwards, I'll open it up for general a discussion on your favorite books.

@Natasha Pillay it’s an exception. What do you read?

@Natasha Pillay I’m looking for engagement across many types of readers. I picked Tuck everlasting because it’s easy and has classic timeless themes. My goal is to delve into The Count of Monte Cristo or Moby Dick type books. It’s hard to have discussions with very limited engagement.
Freedom Series: Day 3
"Once you learn to read, you will be forever free." — Frederick Douglass, Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass For lifelong readers, this hits differently — it's the whole reason a community like this exists. Literacy isn't just a skill here; it's liberation, a door that once opened can never be closed again. 🎬 Reply with a GIF that captures the joy of finally "getting it"!

Freedom Series: Day 4
"I am no bird; and no net ensnares me: I am a free human being with an independent will." — Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre People who love this book cheer out loud at this line — it's Jane refusing to be small. For readers, it's become shorthand for standing your ground when someone tries to define you on their terms. 🎬 Reply with a GIF of a flying bird!

Roman History
Currently I'm working on building this into a reading and historical reading course for my student. What are you working on in Fiction or Non Fiction for fun or for more detailed ambitious projects? Comment with a Gif or an image of the topic or book cover.
