Hi, Charles (me) is new here so have patience with me. I know you will! What is a thesis and how will I show it on any chart I upload? Thanks Me (charles) Soli Deo Gloria

Also helps to capture both daily timeframe and then whatever specific intraday timeframe you have (for example 5 minute chart) on your snapshot - if you are day trading. This helps add context!
QQQ at a Record. Don't Chase It
QQQ closed at a record Friday, and a bunch of my Thursday names broke out with it. Tonight's issue has my Monday list plus the one rule that keeps me from chasing breakouts: https://thebullsheet00.substack.com/p/qqq-just-broke-out-to-a-record-heres?utm_source=skool_free&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=bullsheet Do you check how much of the ATR is used up before you take a breakout? Tell me below.

When evaluating the ATR on the day for a gapper, is it from the open price or since yesterday's closing price?
Run Away! Trade Another Day!
Remembering the following preserves my capital, and my sanity! "When I get hurt in the market, I get the hell out. It doesn’t matter at all where the market is trading. I just get out, because I believe that once you’re hurt in the market, your decisions are going to be far less objective than they are when you’re doing well… If you stick around when the market is severely against you, sooner or later they are going to carry you out." -Randy McKay

If you can, take screenshot of the daily chart next to this intra-day chart. Capture more context like the little display of what indicators you are using and the timeframe will help others give better feedback. Also, what pattern/setup/strategy were you implementing when you took the trade? Hard to give adequate feedback without a bit more info.

@Peter Patt hey Peter same here! For me I'm finding the psychology is getting better (more calm in a trade, less rushing, confidence in the setup) comes with practice/time. The more boring the trading the better - but still working on it! You tracking your trades?

@Akshay Gunnala One thing that helped me start was to not worry about options, just focus on one swing and one day trading strat. Personally I think options add complexity when you are learning. Once you can get some consistency and confidence then options can be a good leverage tool.
