My name is Owen, and I want to thank the admins for the approval and introduce myself to the community. I never grew a plant in my life until I moved to California end of 2016, and started working with cannabis. From growing cannabis and being out in nature, I developed this strong passion for wanting to create a literal forest of food and medicine. Through sychronisisry, I found myself traveling to Peru in 2022 and out of country for the first time ever to the jungle, to work with ayahuasca. I later found another sychronisisry with finding Discover Permaculture led by Geoff Lawton in the beginning of 2024. Enrollment begins March of 2026. At the end of this year, I am selling all that I have to make the move to Peru to start my first farm, work with and understand plant medicine, and begin planting the seeds to one day create a literal forest of food and medicine. I don't know where this path will lead, but I sure know where I don't want it to go. Through a knowing and understanding of what not to do, this guidance eventually leads to a path of what to do. Cooperation instead of competition, we instead of me. Understanding polarities for me, is a driving factor of what makes me who I am.
