Wall Cork Feedback?
Did some of these yesterday. This was the only one I filmed, but then ones I didn't film all felt pretty similar to this one. Everyone seems to have a different opinion on weather it's a wall cork or wall full, but I'm pretty sure it's a wall cork. Any feedback is much appreciated!

@Joshua Abrego Yeah, having a gymnastics background helped a lot with transitioning to parkour. FreeG is short for Freestyle Gymnastics, and is sort of inspired by parkour, but with more of a focus on flips, and less jumping. Personally I sort of outgrew the sport and switched to parkour, as FreeG wasn't able to progress my skills in the same way that parkour does. I still do classes every week, but use them more as a chance to practice new tricks onto soft mats, in order to take them outside for parkour

@Joshua Abrego I would say the biggest thing I look for in a gym is the general attitude towards parkour. Some people in the gymnastics community really dislike parkour, and wherever you go some people will always not like you because you do parkour, but some gyms are much worse than others. At my current gym, most of the people are really nice and friendly, but some people won't even talk to me because I do parkour. Fortunately for me, my current coach actually comes from a parkour background, which has been great for my progression. I've also had other gymnastics coaches who know nothing about parkour, but have still been really understanding and helpful.
Webster Pre Technique?
Yesterday I stuck my first flip pre outside, which I'm super happy about. I don't really do frontflip precisions much, so I don't really know if I'm doing it right or not. On some attempts, it felt a bit like I was just going for it and hoping I'd land in the right place. The thing that helped me was just trying to rotate as quickly as possible, and trying to spot the landing as early as possible, but I don't know if there are any other technique points I'm missing. Definitely keen to do more webster precisions in the future!

Skill quest #12
1 . Didn’t have grass at the spot but soft fall should do and I tried to get creative with this one 2 . Just a simple shoulder roll on concrete 3 . Dive roll over a rail.

Exam - Level 1 - Owain Lawson
Reflecting from when you started, how does it feel to have levelled up? As someone who could already do all of the level 1 moves, I really found an appreciation for training without a specific goal or challenge, just moving around and enjoying the basics, rather than having to push myself to do big, high energy flips. It took until near the end of filming this for me to fully adopt this mindset, as there were moments where I just wanted to just do flips, but I am now able to have fun just doing the basics. During the hardest part of your training, what challenges hit you the hardest and how did you push through it? The hardest part was keeping up motivation to complete the exam, as I did most of it, and then didn't feel like doing it for over a week, and then finished off the rest of it. It felt very boring and easy at the start, and I overcame this by pushing myself to explore, find new spots near me, and try to be creative with my moves. I think really focusing on exploring, and finding cool spots, rather than the actual movements is a really good mindset shift for anyone who can already easily do the level 1 movements. I also found that taking your time and doing it across multiple sessions, rather than trying to tick them all off in one day, will help you to make the most out of it. Imagine your a coach give advice for all those starting Parkour for the first time. What would be 1 wisdom you'll share with them? Never think that the basics are too easy for you, and keep training them even after you learn them. You can always make even the easiest moves much more difficult, and becoming confident in the basics makes learning any other move so much easier

@Joshua Abrego Thanks man, I really tried to put some thought into how I did it, rather than trying to just rush it. Definitely looking at doing the next levels in the future!
