Finding your tribe
Instead of the saying 'You are the average of the FIVE people you surround with', I've always been a believer that 'You're the average of ALL the people who surround you'. The people around us are very vital to our growth and to who we become. This community is a testament to that and it's been so amazing to bond with fellow coaches from all around the world and sharing insights and stories that can't be found anywhere else. As such, whenever I purse something, whether it be personal or professional, I always look for ways to find my tribe - people who're like-minded and want to do things I want to do or are already there. My definition of tribe can be multiple 1:1 or many-to-many (like this Skool community). So how do you know you've found your tribe? - They challenge your thinking, ideas and world views - Motivate and encourage you - Want you to succeed, as you'd want for them - They helpyou grow to become who you aspire to be A few things I've done to find my tribe in the past: - Help people by sharing our knowledge with others. - Provide value first - always - Be proactive - opportunities and relationships come to those who actively seek for it - Be authentic - the objective is to bond and connect, not sell a product or service Food for thought but hope this helps!

Belief in results for clients
My current thoughts are that in order for clients to do what you tell them to do, they have to believe in the goal, the process to actually achieve the outcome. Are there any tactics anyone's used to help create that belief or confidence? Perhaps start in the onboarding call with goal setting? I'm a new weight loss coach so a lot of the clients I'm working with have lower self-esteem/confidence in themselves because of things they've tried in the past but haven't worked. Keen to hear some insights! Thanks in advance :)

@Dillon McNeal this is gold. Being where the client is at is so important because there’s often a lot of obstacles physically and mentally to work through before you can start working towards the bigger changes. I always start small with the ‘next smallest action’ - build momentum and confidence

Emilla Filipowicz
Is anyone else finding Emilla Filipowicz posts completely disruptive to our community or is it just my notifications filled with + - 100 of this persons SPAM?? I have reported her several times!

Credibility as a new coach
There is this (sometimes toxic) culture of "fake it until you make it" out there, as if the only way to be credible is to pretend to be in the business for years. So how do you inspire trust and authority towards clients as a new coach without having to deceive yourself and others?

@Jessica Phiri always happy to chat further if you need. I’m on a similar journey so always good to have someone to walk that journey with ☺️

@Rachael Enright thank youuu 🙏 it started out just with friends and family for the first 100 or so subscribers. They became my initial feedback to determine the overall structure, content etc Once that was fleshed out, I started looking at cross promos with newsletters similar to my niche and size, where we promoted each other’s newsletters. Did this which got me to around 500 subscribers. Tried some paid ads using Facebook aiming at $2-3 per sub. At the time this was my target cac for a 3 month payback period if I were to run ads on my newsletter but now I have a coaching program with a higher ltv so I can acquire subs at a higher cac. That being said, I’m still fleshing out my coaching program with free clients so I’ve paused on the acquisition side for now. Hope this helped!
