How to train beginners and younger kids who want to have more fun than drill

I would do a drill and then have a live application in game form for them. Like you can have them work on a pound dribble then play a game of dribble knockout. You can have them work on form, then play a game where they have to shoot before their partner contests! Games, Games, Games!

Start with decision making type drills with friends. Start easy with a 2 v 1 when you drive and either score or pass. Then you can do the same with movement

SSG to improve playmaking
I’ve been trying to help player build playmaking and decision making skills through simple games like 2 v1 or 3 v 2. Is there any other ways you guys teach playmaking decisions?
