Hello all! My name is Candi. I just got accepted into the Associate Nursing Program at Georgia Northwestern. I’m unsure yet what field I would like to work in. I’ve thought about emergency, oncology, neurology, as well as even the cosmetic medical side. I do know I want to become a travel nurse as soon as I’m eligible. My goal is to use all the valuable resources available to learn and assist in ku educational journey to become a nurse. My passion in life has always been to help people. I want to be able to make a difference in others lives. If anyone has any nursing school essential must haves, advise, or anything I’m would love to here! So far I’m getting an early jump on things by learning on the Picmonic app and website, listening to nursing podcasts, and refreshing myself on nursehub.

Hello everyone, my name is Ora and I go to Galen college with nursing and this is my first year at the school. I am currently a nurse extern at HCA hospital.I’m not exactly sure what type of nurse I want to be but I know my goal is to become a nurse practitioner within the next year I plan to Challenge the NCLEX PN to become a LPN while still in school for RN since I graduate June 2027. During that time, I will be able to get a job as an LPN and work better hours and better pay. My biggest reason for becoming a nurse is to not only help People, but create a change that I would like to see in this industry. it is such a pleasant to meet everyone and I can’t wait to chat with you guys.
