The astrology for the day continues to peak my interest. As you can see, the Guru stands alone on the western part of the chart while everyone other planet sits in the East. This has some major implications which I will attempt to discuss. It’s important to note that Jupiter is exalted which usually deals with increase. Jupiter is the planet of abundance and wisdom and is concerned with our life experiences. When exalted there is a palpable increase wherever it lies in the personal chart. Exalted in Cancer, there can be more optimism readily available and it becomes easier to feel comfortable in one’s situations. However, not all increases are positive, bigger is not always better. While Jupiter is a natural benefic, you must watch for aspects being made to it and whether it’s a positive planet in your own chart. In today’s case we continue have the moon in Capricorn (debilitated) and Mars in Capricorn(exalted) opposing Jupiter. It is so easy to over commit this time around. We have nice trines from the outer planets adding some positivity in the mix but for those with Cardinal Ascendants, this can be overwhelming. Those ruled by Jupiter, Sagittarius and Pisces, this holiday season can seem chaotic. Jupiter is in retrograde bringing up lessons from the past. Have we learned anything about what feels safe for us? About our roots? What home means?

The Winter Solstice begins when the Sun moves into Capricorn on the 21st December. As we close out the year and prepare for 2026 (a Fire Horse and a 1 year) we take stock of all that was done so we can move forward; and move forward we will in a dynamic 2026. Its always a good idea to pair down your resolutions and work on a few rather than too many. As the Sun ingresses into Capricorn, its important to pay attention the house Capricorn resides in your chart and set goals that align with the energy of PERSEVERANCE. Saturn rules Capricorn and will be debilitated in Aries in the new year which will challenge us to stay the course.
