Hello Everyone
I just joined Book Village and reviewed my first book, and it was posted on Amazon. I added my book but have not had any pickups yet that I can see. I noticed some of the Amazon postings had review issues and wanted to offer a suggestion to help. Since Amazon requires a $50 spend per year, you have products you've purchased. Before beginning posting book reviews, I posted reviews on the other products I purchased. I did this over the course of two weeks not to raise any sudden red flags. I also read the Book Village book and created a bullet point list. I then used the bullet points to write the review without using AI. The book review was immediately accepted, and I received a link to the review from Amazon the next day. Now I'm going to wait a week before I review the next book. All the best, Vito

Welcome aboard Vito. I have only done verified purchases since joining Book Village a few months back. My books usually get picked up in 24 to 48 hours.
New Reader Assistant Service Slots Are Now Available
We’ve been able to increase the capacity of our Reader Assistant Service, and a few new slots are now available. This is especially important for those of you who contacted us a few weeks ago and were added to the waitlist because there were no available spots at the time. The service has been very well received by the members already using it, and we’re happy to open it again to more BookVillage users who want to save time by delegating their assignment workflow safely. The Reader Assistant Service helps you delegate the manual work behind your assignments, so you can keep completing assignments consistently, accumulate active promotions, and use them for your books, without relying on random Virtual Assistants or risky outside services. A key part of this service is that each Reader Assistant works with one BookVillage user only. This is not a mass automated system, and it is not a pool of random freelancers shared across multiple users. The service is intentionally structured this way so the workflow can remain more organized, more consistent, and easier to supervise. That is also why availability is limited. We do not plan to scale this service beyond a controlled level. Quality, supervision, and safety matter more than accepting everyone. So if you want to use the service, please don’t wait too long. New slots are available now, but they will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. You can read the full explanation here: 👉 Click Here to Read the Full Reader Assistant Service Guide To request a slot, email us at: support@bookvillage.pub Use this subject line: READER ASSISTANT SERVICE If you were previously added to the waitlist, or if you already know you want to delegate your assignments safely, this is the right moment to contact us. BookVillage is your ally.

Welcome aboard Tony!
Hello, everyone!
Hello, everyone and thank you, Adriano for the warm welcome. I have a few books published over the last year and a half but reviews have been the one thing keeping me down. I have noticed a few reviews missing recently. I don't worry about it too much but I also see the impact they have on my momentum. I appreciate all your intent and efforts with BookVillage!!

Reasons why I leave four star or below
Hi everyone, I am creating this post for the sole purpose of sharing some genuine feedback which I have whenever I rate a book 4 or less stars but I have noticed that I still get to see lots of such books. I would encourage everyone in th community to share their perspective and reasons so that others can fix those problems even before they ask for review on the platform. And let me be honest about it, if I am paying for a book and it genuinely upsets me, and I leave a four star even though I care about the book less than the real customer, you should consider this. I also believe many people feel the same. So let's use this for those insights and try to bring overall ratings of everyone to higher end.😃

I look at the overall merits of the book. I do take the formatting into consideration but don't make it the devastating rating and the fact you still rate it as a 4 star kind of tells me we are in alignment. I have given 3 and 2 stars before but those books were just awful, lots of repetitiveness, clearly incorrect information (an example I recall was a basketball stories for kids, they had stories of Kobe Bryan having played Wilt Chamberland, that would have never happened due to their age separation). And I have also cancelled assignments if I was not too familiar with the subject, even if I was getting bad vibes I just didn't think it would be fair for me to give a real low rating without being 100% sure of my assessment and was not about to try to become a subject matter expert on it myself to find out, I just moved on.
