1 contribution to Earth Reciprocity Collective
Welcome Home: Beginning Our Earth Reciprocity Journey Together 🌍
Welcome to the Earth Reciprocity Collective 🌍 We’re a community of people learning how to live in right relationship with the Earth. Not perfectly. Not performatively. But intentionally. Earth Reciprocity is simple at its core: when we care for the Earth, the Earth sustains us. Our well-being and the planet’s well-being are not separate stories — they are the same story. This space exists for practice. It’s where ideas turn into daily actions.Where concern becomes contribution.Where eco-anxiety becomes grounded responsibility.Where we remember we belong to the Earth, not above it. You don’t have to be an activist. You don’t have to be zero waste. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to care enough to begin. Let’s Start With Introductions Tell us: 1. Your name (or what you’d like to be called) 2. Where you’re joining from 3. One thing you’ve found on Earth — a place, a species, a memory, a natural element — that you are deeply grateful for and would want preserved for future generations Maybe it’s a river from your childhood.A forest trail. The smell of rain.A coastline.A grandmother’s garden. Let’s build this community by remembering what we love. Community Ground Rules To keep this space healthy and life-giving: • Practice, not perfection. No shaming. No purity tests.• Speak from your experience. Listen with respect.• Disagree thoughtfully. We are here to grow, not to win arguments.• Focus on solutions and shared responsibility, not blame.• Protect the tone of the space — grounded, hopeful, action-oriented. This is a circle. Every voice matters. We’re here to learn how to give back to the Earth in ways that are practical, personal, and powerful. I’m grateful you’re here. Now tell us about the piece of this planet you love enough to protect. 🌎

Hello family, I’m Tosin 👋🏾 I’m joining you from New Jersey, United States at the moment, though my journey into this work began in Nigeria, where I first witnessed how deeply communities are affected when the Earth is treated as disposable. That experience changed me. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked in environmental justice, renewable energy, climate advocacy, and education — but if I’m honest, Earth Reciprocity was born from something deeper than policy or programs. It came from a realization: when our relationship with the Earth is broken, something inside us breaks too. This Collective is my response to that. Not another platform for outrage. Not another space for guilt. But a place where we practice living differently — together. One thing on Earth I am deeply grateful for and want preserved? Rivers. There’s something about standing near flowing water that resets me. Growing up, rivers were places of life, gathering, culture, and reflection. Today, so many are polluted or forgotten. Protecting our waters feels personal to me — because water carries memory, sustains communities, and quite literally carries life forward. I’m here not as someone who has it all figured out, but as someone committed to walking this path with you. I’m grateful you’re here. Now I’d love to hear your story. What part of this Earth are you here to protect? 🌍
