There’s a lot of buzz about “global citizenship.” Helpful for some… or a bit extreme? Curious where you stand. Quick check-in: ✅ I have a second citizenship/passport 🔍 I’ve researched it / considering it ✋ Not for me (at least for now)
I have dual citizenship with United Kingdom and Canada. Born in the UK and spent 12 years in Canada from my early teens which gave me Canadian. I really like having both as I feel I do have good options. My Canadian provides me with 6 months in the USA hassle free which works well with our currently lives. Also obviously always the options of moving my family to anywhere in Canada. My daughter was born in the US so she holds both US and UK - once again hopefully maintaining options for the future. HOWEVER, some luxuries have been seriously axed in recent times with Brexit in the UK... Now our UK passport which once held extreme European value is now very err flat and bland.
