Hi, My name is Olivier from France, 44 years old. I used to go to the gym (four times a week on average) for group classes or weight training sessions. I stopped when COVID hit. Since then, I haven't had the motivation to go back. I decided to cancel my membership and invest in a home gym (with elastic bands, dip bars, etc.) to have a set-up. I discovered calisthenics in 2017 with Thenx and Chris Heria. My current level has dropped significantly: I did a test circuit: 20 push-ups 40 kettle rows 8 kg right arm 35 kettle rows 8 kg left arm 1m15 plank hold kettlebell swing 8 kg - 20 reps in 30 seconds 110 air squats I tried pull-ups, thinking I'd do better than that, but I can barely manage one. Just hanging from the bar (32mm diameter) burns my palms and I struggle to stay hanging, as it pulls hard on my arms. I have fairly thin wrists and forearms, and I've always had weak tendons and joints. I want to improve my calisthenics, and my long-term goals are (if possible) to be able to do muscle-ups and handstand push-ups.
