My first wok cooking class yesterday; chicken, vegetables and rice. Surprised how quick and tasty it was. https://www.skool.com/cooking-with-ollie-8291/about?ref=ddad3ade077a450b800da620ad9499aa

My cover crop on this cold morning
The leaf cover is the meandering rain water flow swale guiding drainage to eventually hit a ditch for heavy rain overflow. First year was predominantly watching and digging swales around the property to slow down rain water as much as possible. This year I’ll harvest some degraded leaves as I clean the depressions and add to the growing space.

Thought of the Day
Today, let’s think like a ecosystem system. In natures ecosystem, resilience is rarely one big move. It’s small layers, one on top of the other; a collapsible water container, couple extra jars of peanut butter, a simple meal plan, a few roots in the ground, or a planning discussion on Sunday afternoon with family. Think about and build one layer this week. Let it be quiet. Let it be real. It’s your future.
