Hello Justin, hello everybody else, this is Oliver from south western germany. I started playing the handpan around two years ago but am playing not really regularily. I initially learned about the handpan (or better the hang) over twenty years ago at a local concert and was directly intrigued by its sound. Then forgot about it and these two years ago found a 2h workshop nearby. After playing the pan for an hour i just didn't get rid of a big smile on my face and knew i had to get one for myself. I had a chance to go to two handpan festivals here in germany 2024/2025 and was able to get some workshops there with some well known players. Then i started following loads of people on instagram, one of them being @Justin Ezor whose posts i really like. So thanks a lot Justin for inviting me here and hopefully i can learn some things here as well as contributing to the group.
