@Azelma B yeah me too. Lately I saw a video titled "all you have to do is show up" which had a really cool and simple idea: 1) spend 5-10 mins with pen and paper to write out whatever is bothering you about the task. Doesn't have to be coherent or legible; it's not for anyone else. 2) Without committing to actually *work* on the task, set a 5 min timer and set set up your environment for the task (e.g. open the apps you need, or prepare your tools, or sit at the piano or whatever). 3) DO NOT commit to working on the task. You can use that time to do nothing, or think about whatever you like, or work on the task *if you want*. 4) Take a break for a few mins. 5) Go back to step 2. The idea was that once you're set up to work on the task, eventually you'll probably get bored of doing nothing, and get started. I tried it and it works pretty well, but we'll see if it lasts!
