We have been a bit quiet and here is why: As most of you know we have been on an unlimited databutton subscription - and that is no more. As of January 29th that is gone forever. But before that happened - we worked from December 29th until Jan 9th to try and convert one of our apps from databutton to run inside of docker on a VPS. Our plan was to continue to use Databutton to fix bugs and add new features and actually run on the VPS. This was a complete failure. The reason being is that Databutton uses a number of proprietary libs to make there system work. Personally I think it is much like the site builders that allow you to create a website but it must remain hosted with them. As we have 14 SAAS - this was completely unsustainable. I all but threw in the towel - and that is not like me. Then... Antigravity appeared. This seems to be a system we can use to correct bugs and migrate onto a vps. That is exactly what we have been doing. I have been very impressed and once we have converted all - not a small feat - our monthly costs will drop significantly.
