Approximately 80% of student pilots drop out before earning their private pilot certificate - According to Right Rudder Marketing. Is that true? Or is that just marketing? I think it was just clickbait.
We donβt see 80% quit, but a big percentage just have a difficult time committing several days per week for a solid 6 months to finish in a timely manner. Then it takes 18 months. A very small percentage of people can just show up every week Without other commitments and nothing else to do other than fly
@Trent Hargis We do offer discounted block rates. Unfortunately, the word accelerated doesnβt really mean much other than somebody being able to commit five days a week and yes, we do cover that as we operate seven days a week , with two full-time flight instructors. A classroom at the airport, and we have had a few students come in work it like an accelerated program and Finish within six months. hence why I say six months to the committed because Iβve seen it multiple times, but thatβs what it takes if your serious. You can go from PPL to Cfi realistically in 18 months no problem if you commit . Whether you consider that accelerated or just committing your time five days a week.
What did you use to study for the private pilot written test, do you think it was very effective? Lots of people ask what the best route is to take, and I will always say home study. Cheap, easy, & own pace!
