Connections…
Engineering-based Extracurriculars
Hey guys! Can you give me some suggestions for some extracurriculars (apart from research) that I can do that relates to engineering? More specifically it can include coding, physics, and engineering as well. It can be extracurriculars and competitions too. Thanks!

@Syeda Zainab Fatima I am already doing science Olympiad and STEM initiatives and soon will be doing science fair. I just wanted to know any engineering-specific ones. One question is for passion projects, how do you make it impactful? And are there any examples? Thanks for the info anyway!

In my personal opinion, I believe ur doing too many clubs and not enough outside of school. In my personal opinion, stick to max 3 clubs and get deeply involved in 1. In my case I am doing scioly, robotics, and NHS. I am deeply involved in scioly because it’s a big part of my schools tradition and we compete against one of the best schools in the nations. But I do a lot outside of school including research, and coding projects and stuff like that.
arXiv Endorser request
Hello everyone, a few weeks ago I made a post discussing my research project. I am pleased to announce that it is now completed in the form of a paper. However I need an endorser to upload to the LG category of arxiv and was wondering if anyone knew someone that could help me. My email adress in ngahmadmak@gmail.com or you could comment under this post if you can help me. Many thanks, Ahmad

Hey, I doubt this is the right place to ask this question since most people here are in high school and in middle school. I recommended emailing professors in the field u did research in for endorsements! From your project, you can also submit to techRxiv and I don’t think you need endorsements. I believe it’s just an initial screening first, but don’t quote me on that. Hope this helps!
Keeping a Vibrant Social Life While Crushing Your Goals
Hello guys, I know how important it is to stay connected with friends while juggling everything else in our lives. Sometimes, It feels impossible to keep up with our social lives and not let school or our passion projects slip. But here’s the thing—you can have it all. Here’s what I do - ⏩ Schedule My Social Time: Just like I plan my study sessions or work, I also block out time for friends. Whether it’s a quick coffee catch-up or a weekend hangout, put it in your calendar so it actually happens. ⏩ Combine Social Time with Productivity: Try studying in a group. I work on my side projects with friends who have similar interests. It’s a great way to stay social while getting things done. ⏩ Set Boundaries: It’s easy for a hangout to stretch on longer than planned. Enjoy your social moments, but remember to set a limit so you can stay on top of your other commitments. It might seem a bit strict, but I always let my friends know about my availability in advance. By being intentional with your time, you can keep your social life vibrant without sacrificing your goals. Everyone appreciates authenticity. If you’re finding it tough to balance your social life, try out these tips.
