Hey Jay! Excited! Thank you so much for the invite to join the Lab! It’s great to see you again. The video is inspiring. I can see the Lord is using you to get me to finish what He has allowed me to start, not just script writing, but so much more. For the group - I’m Nilda LéDix, former Teacher, now Leasing Consultant, and soon embarking on a new venture next month! Years ago, I was able to write a script for the Orlando Independent Filmmakers - LOL Challenge, and with the help of many I was able to produced it and it was seen on the big screen. It was called “Meet The Familia” - rated top 10 in that challenge. Many loved it and expressed it would make a great mini series. Jay, with your surprised invite, you have jolted me to want to dust off the keyboard to start again! Let the script flow-start! 😁🙌🏼 🎞️ I know there’s much script writing that has to be done, and I have even been asked to write a book, but - let’s just say that will be for another video to jolt me to start that! I have no formal training in acting, nor went to a college/university for film school. What I learned came from volunteering to work, helping creators like Jay and their movie sets. On Jay’s set, for Waking Up White, I was given the opportunity to do more than a PA’s job. A day later I was pulled-in to learn to be a script supervisor, and much more. I took advantage of each SetLife moment and learned from it. Now, it would be wonderful to see my short mini series scripted out and even produced. Let’s see what the rest of this years brings. I’m thrilled to be part of this group and see our work evolve. 🏆🌴🎥🎬🎥🌴🏆 I leave for Wyoming in a couple of weeks and returning in May, and will be able to put a little more work into my writing. ✍️
