For me it’s been the Native SSL Channel Strip! I’ve read the privilege of working on an actual SsL 4000 in Nashville! So that sound has made an impact on my “Signature” mixing sound, and the Native strip that they created just downs the job, no questions asked!

For me, I've always been able to HEAR! Meaning, I could always differentiate between tones, beats, frequencies, harmonies, etc. It wasn't until around 15/16yr that I realized every one, or every musician couldn't do that. That's really when I got serious about Mix engineering! It's literally been the basis of what's kept me working all these years, whether I'm MDing or running Playback, or Engineering! Can't wait to hear some of your answers!
