Update!
Hey everyone, I want to apologize for being MIA lately. There has been a lot happening behind the scenes, and I appreciate your patience while everything gets built out the right way. I’m excited to share that we’re planning a January 2026 in-person meet-up right after the holidays. This will be a chance for real conversations, connection, and collaboration between parents and pediatric professionals in our area as we grow this community together. A quick update on membership direction starting in January: - Parents: we plan to open parent access at $0 while we continue growing - Professionals/Providers: $10 membership to help cover overhead costs and keep operations sustainable The long-term goal is to build a space that brings families, providers, and resources together in a meaningful, grounded, community-driven way. More details about the January meet-up will be shared soon, including date, location, and RSVP options. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone in person and moving into the new year with alignment and purpose. Thank you for being here, Nicole

Hiring a Nature Based OT
We are hiring a Lead Nature-Based Occupational Therapist at Bayside Therapy Specialists. If you are an OT who comes alive outdoors, values connection over compliance, and believes nature is one of the most powerful tools for regulation and engagement, this role is for you. We are launching a new Nature-Based OT Division and looking for a clinician who is creative, grounded, emotionally intelligent, and excited to help build something meaningful for neurodivergent children in Tampa Bay. This role includes outdoor sessions in local parks and forest areas, collaboration with preschools, and opportunities to help shape and name this new program. Compensation is $45–$50 per hour with health, dental, vision, and 401k matching. Leadership opportunities available as the program grows. If you want to grow within a supportive, mission-driven clinic and help bring nature-based therapy to the families who need it, we would love to hear from you. Mental health provider
Hi, I’m Giselle from GrowthInConnections.com. I provide trainings that help therapists build stronger connections with parents and grow their confidence in working with families. I also offer parent coaching, supporting families through transitions such as moving from public school to homeschool or exploring whether their child may benefit from additional services. I’m currently looking for a mental health provider in the Lutz/Trinity area who can conduct ADHD evaluations. Several parents I work with are also interested in non-medication approaches. While I know pediatricians can make a diagnosis, I’d love to connect with a mental health professional who can provide a more comprehensive assessment and address any underlying concerns. So excited that we have this space to share resources and support one another!

Thanks, Giselle! If the parents are open to alternatives to medication, I know Thrivewell Functional Medicine is a great place to start. Occupational therapy is also really important. We have OT services at Bayside, but we're quite far from them. Let me think about who would be best for the diagnosis and get back to you.
