I was totally dumbfounded when I found out that Google is taking away the the w search method. This is horrible for a business that has worked so hard to master the SEO game, so they can be found on the first page. Their reasoning is that users go to ChatGPT and perplexity, so they are choosing to adopt that functionality and calling it a comprehensive information assistant A lot of people on Threads are saying that they are closing their google accounts. They are switching to Duck, Duck Go as a browser and Proton Mail (I love Proton mail, no pushback there) But, what do you do to replace Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Analytics, that is free. Say what you want about Google, but they are the technology company that gives you a generous amount for free. Microsoft OneDrive only gives about 2 GB of cloud storage for free (the last time I checked) . I have 100 GB on the business plan which is a post for another day, lol. I just finished Get it Done Week in Monica Froese and she said something that made me think when it comes to IP protection. You can have the copyright and the trademark, but that doesn’t stop dishonest people from copying you IP and sell it as their own. I would love to create my own AI Agentic platform, but I don’t have the budget to train it. I was going to build it. I have to decide if I want to build it using AI ML API which is an aggregator. I could do this the open source route but like I said I don’t know how to code, but I do know how to tell AI what I want. I have the schemas UI code, built in workflows just sitting in a Google doc. For some reason, thought of using Lovable repulses me and I don’t know why. Over to you, how are currently or plan to protect your IP?
