Pre-Wash or No Pre-Wash
I have always been one to Not Pre-Wash my fabric. This year however I was taking pictures of my quilt outside when it started sprinkling rain. The red fabric started to bleed that quick onto the white. Thank goodness it was my own quilt! Lesson Learned! How about you? Pre-Wash or No?

I do not pre-wash. I do wash after with color catchers though.

My name is Nikki and I am from Maryland. I have been quilting for a while, but was working full time and only finished 1 quilt each year or so. I recently retired and have started quilting a lot more, if I can just get them actually quilted. I always have several projects going; I am working on a kaleidescope quilt, a blue crab applique quilt, a wool hand applique quilt, and a mystery quilt. I have never made a T-shirt quilt before, but I have 2 sets of T-shirts waiting: a bunch of my daughter's track T-Shirt from high school and a bunch of military shirts from my husband's and my military career.
