The most powerful tools for me so far have been the peace-checking tool and the wisdom to identify red flags. Sometimes I wish these insights had reached me 20 years ago, because they could have spared me from so much hurt. Yet nothing happens before God's appointed time, and learning these lessons now feels like confirmation that I'm stepping into a new season with renewed strength and clarity. For me, this is freedom, a true power shift. I am finally reclaiming authority over my peace and well-being, gently moving away from old patterns of hurt and disappointment. Using these tools helps me build relationships grounded in discernment, grace, and wisdom. The pain of the past begins to fade, replaced by hope for a future full of healthy connections. This is prophetic for me “Healthy Connections”. In 2017 I created a vision board , one of my goals on that board, was to build and have Healthy Connections. Eight years later, I am part of this group, waiting on God’s perfect timing and his connecting me to Healthy Connections, that are a good fit of His design of me. Setting boundaries has become a way to show love to myself and others. By choosing carefully who I welcome into my life, I realize that boundaries are not barriers but invitations to lasting peace. Even with relationships from the past that sometimes linger, I see the value of these principles. Pausing to reflect, searching for genuine peace, and learning to recognize warning signs have become my protection, especially since these struggles have affected my interactions with men and women. This process is hard sometimes. Balancing my heart, time, and talents, the parts of myself I am willing to share is delicate work. My natural disposition is loving, kind, and forgiving, and I sincerely want to help others and see them through the eyes of Christ. Still, I have learned that these gifts must be offered with wisdom and boundaries, especially when others are not willing to grow or appreciate how blessed they are to have good company.
