Feeling itchy. 👎
Had something weird happen to me and just wondering if anyone has heard of this or can help me. Maybe I could ask in the big fb group too but just wanted to start here. I did a hocatt session yesterday to try to boost my immune system before going on vacation because my daughter has not been feeling the best. Well I am covered in red itchy bumps pretty much everywhere on my body. 😩🙃 I am trying to figure out if this was a herx reaction of toxins dumping fast and them coming out on my skin or if it's a nickel reaction. Has anyone heard of this or had this happen? For anyone that doesn't know what the hocatt is I'll try to attach a description. Like a sauna that does a bunch of other stuff. Lol..... Apparently too strong for my body. 😭😭😭 Feeling defeated. My husband thinks if it's a herx dump that maybe that's a good thing. 🤷 Getting rid of toxins.

I guess you’re probably detoxing of that was what the session was supposed to do. Have you asked the technician/business what’s going on? Sorry that you are not feeling well… all I can suggest is cold packs.
Nickel free silverware
Wondering what utensils to use when eating your meals? The best thing to do is to start with silverware that has the marking 18/0 on it which tells you it has zero nickel in it. The zero located on this marking it means that the item has zero nickel in it if your silverware or pots and pans have 18/8 or 18/10 that means that there is a small amount of nickel in the item, 8% or 10%. You can also use real silver and pull out the good stuff to eat with on a day-to-day basis. So don’t worry, this can go through the dishwasher and you may as well use the good stuff in my opinion. Another option would be to temporarily use wooden utensils or plastic utensils, chopsticks, or your hands work as well!

I'm from beautiful Cape Cod, Massachusetts. And, I am a fan of sourdough toast with butter for a snack lately. I'd love to start baking sourdough myself, so if you have any tips I'll be all ears.
