Welcome to The Political Orphans Community.
I’m not going to pretend this is some massive launch with thousands of people already inside… it’s not. Right now, it’s just the beginning. I'll be honest with you — I'm nervous posting this. Not because I don't believe in what we're building here. I believe in it more than anything I've ever done. But because I know how much this is needed and I want to get it right. This community exists because every party has failed Canada. Because the conversations that matter aren't happening anywhere else. Because complaining without building solutions is just making things worse. This is not a fan club. This is not a comment section. This is a room where serious Canadians come together to: -Understand the real problems facing our country -Find realistic solutions -Figure out how to implement them one community at a time. We are here to build something real — and to forge the future leaders of this country. Our first monthly topic is: Free Speech & Censorship The most important right we have — because without it, we have nothing. Over the next few weeks, we’re going to break it down properly: - The facts - The real-world consequences - The possible solutions - And how any of this could actually be implemented So let me start by asking you a simple question: What was the moment you realized free speech in Canada was no longer guaranteed? Tell me your story. That's why we're here. It's not too late for Canada — but it's time to stop complaining and start building. I live my life by these simple words: “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” — Edmund Burke I don’t do this because I want to — I do this because if I don’t no one else will… What type of example would I be for my son. — Nico

Guest Recommendations
Recommend thought leaders who go beyond commentary — people who don’t just talk about problems but propose real solutions. Experts, builders, reformers — action-oriented voices whose ideas deserve to be heard. Drop their name, what they do, where I can find them (social media, website, etc.), and why they matter. These guests may be invited to appear on the show, the weekly live discussions, or both. Credit will be given to the member who recommended them. This is not a discussion thread. If you want to discuss a recommendation, take the conversation to General Discussion.

Good Story of the Week
The news cycle is focused on negativity because that is what sells. This thread highlights the big and small wins that deserve attention — regular people doing great things, communities helping each other, and leaders actually doing their jobs. No win is too small or too big. The goal is to remind ourselves that despite what the media often tells us, there are still many good people working to make this world — and this country — better. This is about remembering what Canada is really about. Each week, one standout story will be featured on the show, with credit given to the member who shared it. This is not a discussion thread. It exists to share positive developments the community should be aware of. If you want to discuss the story, take the conversation to General Discussion.

Breaking Stories
This thread exists to keep the community informed about what is happening in Canada and around the world. This is not a discussion thread — it is an information feed. Share important news stories, events, and developments that members of this community should be aware of. If you want to debate or discuss the story, take that conversation to the General Discussion section. Stories shared here may influence topics discussed on the show. If a story you shared is selected, you will be credited for bringing it to the community’s attention.

Topic of the Week
Each month we focus on one major issue facing Canada. That monthly theme is explored over four weekly discussions: - Week 1 — The Facts: what the data actually shows. - Week 2 — The Consequences: the real-world impact on Canadians. - Week 3 — The Solutions: what realistic solutions could look like. - Week 4 — Implementation: how those solutions could actually be applied in the real world. This is where we go deep — not wide. Debate the arguments. Challenge assumptions. Propose solutions and discuss how those solutions could realistically be implemented. Stay disciplined. Stay specific. Stay respectful. A new discussion thread is posted each week by the admin.
