Hello, I’m completely new to audio production (like a month or two) and I’ve been trying to make my own original music. I’ve added one of my first projects and would be open to any and all feedback on mixing especially when it comes to vocals.
Nice Job!! I really love piece! I think you're off to a great start. First thing I would do would be to compress your lead vocals harder. I think you need some compression practice because I think a few of the elements are a little undercompressed. I want your Lead vocals to feel more present. I'd try panning the BGV more agressively. I also think your lead vocal may sound a little thin.
Thanks for taking the time to check this out. I know you had to grind like hell to make it in the music industry, and I’ve got huge respect for anyone who actually builds a living off it. I’ve been applying some of the feedback you gave me before.. just got out of the shed testing new FX chains on my vocals. Would love to hear your thoughts on how it’s sounding now.
Nice job! The vocals sound distorted to me. Are you using distortion there? It might be bit too much. Maybe try a more subtle approach. I'd also add a Desser on there!
