Sunday March 1st
We’re going live again March 1st at 4:00 PM Central. I’ve had a lot of great questions come in lately, so let’s open it up and talk ball. Drop your questions in this thread so we can hit them live. Also looking forward to welcoming some new guys into the group. If you’re new, jump in here and introduce yourself. Let’s make it a good one.

1. How would you build a 2 QB offense with one player being more of a passer and the other being more of a runner? 2. Is there a reason your o line splits are so tight? I remember you saying 18 inches is ideal, but I see you guys are foot to foot almost now. 3. What college and NFL teams are you studying this off-season?
LIVE SUNDAY
We’re going LIVE this Sunday at 3PM Central. We’re going to talk ball, break down some details that’ll help you right away, and I’ll answer questions live. If you’ve been wanting clarity on installs, adjustments, or just how we’re thinking about things right now… this is the one to jump on. No fluff. Just real football. If you’re coming, reply below so I know who’s in. See you Sunday at 3.

3 questions 1. How would you build an offense with a new starter, very little varsity qb experience? 2. What are your thoughts of flipping the o line by having a strong side and quick side? 3. What offenses are you studying this off season either pro or college?
Rams vs Seahawks
Games are on tonight. I’ll have the All-22 from the Rams vs Seahawks game loaded up after. A lot of what we talk about in this group shows up in that game. Formations, movement, play action, how they protect it, how they stress the defense without getting cute. Watch it with a coach’s eye. See if anything jumps out that looks familiar or raises a question. Screenshots welcome. Notes welcome. Even a “why did they do that right there?” is perfect. Come back to this post after the game and drop what you saw. I’ll be on, answering questions, and we’ll break it down this week and tie it directly back to what we do and why it works.

Not really a specific question related to last night's game, but why do you think McVay went to more of a duo run game vs wide zone? He still runs wide zone and its awesome out of 13 personnel. Why do you think he's more duo vs wide zone?

I’m having technical issues! I’m going to try to jump on later today. If there’s a time better today or tomorrow leave a comment!!!

Your First Wide Shoot Rule
If a rule needs an exception, it’s not a rule yet. The Wide Shoot is built on simple rules that hold up against pressure. As we go, everything ties back to that idea. Drop your level, position, and experience with the system below so I know how to help you best.

Hi everyone! I am in my second year as a head coach in rural North Dakota. I was offensive coordinator in 9 man one year before becoming head coach. All at the same school, we dropped to 9 man for one season and came back up into a very tough conference. We were running a hybrid single wing/veer offense, but very heavy on power and counter. We had 21 varsity players last year with around 75% being freshman and sophomores and we made the switch to the flexbone before the start of the season. We finished the season 1-8, but only lost 3 seniors with a good size freshman class coming up. I would like to add the wide zone as our base blocking scheme to specifically get better at toss, jet, and even use it in our triple game as well as get a better passing game. Very excited to learn!

@Nick Codutti yes definitely a rebuild. The year we were 9 man it was the most successful season in school history. Won the region, went to the quarterfinals in the playoffs, and had 30 kids playing. We basically had to restart the program going back to 11 man.
