Hello! - My name is Nick and I’m from Chino, CA. - I’ve been dancing for about 3 years. I started out with choreography and this past year I’ve really tried to expand into freestyle/improvisation. I can’t exactly say I’ve cemented myself in a certain style or type of movement but I’ve been having a lot of fun learning & playing with street-styles (hip-hop, house, & waving) & contemporary-fusion concepts. - I haven’t done too much, a few project teams here & there for showcases. I’m currently on a training team called “Oasis” under the umbrella name “Voyage” based in Orange. We’ve been working on foundations, fundamental concepts, choreography, freestyle, & more to build our individual identity along with applying it a performance setting. The teams offers a lot for various avenues. You can check it out on IG @_outerclass. - In my current practice I’ve been doing daily freestyles. If you want to check it out, my IG is @chaunick___. My goals as a dancer are towards building my own movement identity, refining my street-style foundations, honing on my textures & detail, and exploring new concepts/ideas. I’m also trying to keep a consistent routine with choreography classes to work on the same elements from my freestyle. In the future I would like the opportunity to try and battle OR share my craft and teach a class. Overall I want to become a higher-level dancer by being more intentional with my movement/practice and build an identity to the art-form. - With CyphrCam, I’m hoping to continue the progress with my freestyle especially with a helpful tool to smooth out the process. It would be nice to not worry about a speaker setup or trying to sync up music on IG. I’m also hoping to find myself in another passionate & supporting community. It’s really dope to see other beta testers use CyphrCam however they need to. I remember my friend Franz & Dayna were using this and I immediately got hooked on this app and was hoping to test out the beta soon. So huge shoutout to Perris for creating this, super grateful!
