Today’s service was so needed. 🥹🙌🏾 We’ve been in a series called “Culture: This Is Us” and today’s word was “A House of Honor.” And whew… it was a real heart-check. The reminder was simple but deep: honor isn’t just manners… it’s Kingdom protocol. It’s how we steward God’s presence, His people, and even our own posture. One thing that stood out heavy: worship is corporate discipleship. Clapping, standing, lifting hands isn’t based on mood—it’s based on revelation. The atmosphere isn’t the worship team’s responsibility alone… every believer has to steward their row. Because it’s a privilege to worship God, and no matter how hurt we’ve been by people, God is still good. Another powerful point was the difference between conviction vs. condemnation. When God exposes something, it’s not to shame us—it’s to heal us. God only reveals what He desires to heal. 🕊️ Then we talked about building a culture of honor, and this was the key: We can’t receive correctly where we don’t perceive correctly. Honor begins with perception. 👑 Honor should flow: • Up (God’s presence, Scripture, spiritual leadership) • Sideways (peers, volunteers, the ones serving quietly) • Down (children, newcomers, people without titles) Because everybody deserves respect. And I loved this part: honor is NEVER forced. It’s discerned and willingly given. A place of honor becomes a safe place… but dishonor breeds suspicion, gossip, and division. The message even tied it back to Naaman (2 Kings 5) — how miracles require humility and obedience. Sometimes breakthrough is hidden in simple instructions, and God removes every reason for self-credit so He alone gets the glory. Overall… this word reminded me that the church should be known as a place where honor lives. Not perfection, not performance… but humility, reverence, and spiritual maturity. Family... I want to challenge you for a moment. Yesterday we had our live teaching. Several people said they forgot, didn’t see the announcement, or missed the live. Let me be very clear, and hear my heart when I say this: mentorship requires intentionality. Growth requires attention. Development requires discipline. We go live every Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. EST... and yesterday we started at 8:31pm... As your coach, my responsibility is to show up prepared, consistent, and committed to your growth. Your responsibility is to keep up, follow closely, and take ownership of your engagement. This is not a space for excuses, drifting, or passive participation. I’m not here to baby anyone or chase anyone down. I’m here to build people who are serious about becoming more. I believe you are called to be high-capacity, high-functioning, high-achieving leaders. And with that calling, excuses don’t cut it. This community is curated for people who are serious about mentorship, intentional about growth, and who understand the sacred relationship between mentor and mentee. I want you to be the example for every person who enters this space. Step up. Lean in. Engage at a higher level. If you don't pull, then I won't pour! I NEED YOUR PURSUIT AND YOUR PRESSURE!!! Enjoyed the Live Q & A . Thought provoking and a real sense of likeminded community . Definitely could relate to much of what was discussed ; some of the answers/questions asked spoke to and gave clarity/ministered to similar personal situations .
