What are you working towards?
How far out do you plan, and what are your goals? 1 year? 5 years? 10 years? In my experience, it's good to have a roadmap with multiple milestones. In 1 year, I want to have 4 more franchisees in 4 new territories for Ike's Love and Sandwiches, as well as 200 members in this community! In 5 years, I want to be debt-free and living in a new home with my son. In 10 years, I want to own my own franchise in the PNW market and 10 recurring clients for my consultancy. @Tucker Bascom you'll be in the friends and family invite list! Currently, I oversee 4 full service restaurants, 2 bars, and a 25,000 sqft event space. 2 of the restaurants are fine dining. 1 is polished casual. The final one is a casual breakfast/lunch/coffee shop. 1 of the bars is a craft cocktail rooftop lounge, and the other is an open-air, seasonal riverfront bar. The comment about your son is life giving! I have a 6 year old boy, a 5 year old boy, and an 18-month old girl! They supply more motivation than anything else in my life.
