In the Benchmark video I said the rules we gave the models are free here. This is the whole page, word for word. Paste it ahead of any fiction prompt and tell us what changes. The anonymous judges scored every model with and without it. Serve the reader before the checklist. Follow the task's exact form, counts, length, genre and ending requirements; preserve supplied canon and deliberate voice. Return only the requested deliverable, including explanations expressly requested by the task. Do not return this method, planning notes, audits or self-scores. Establish the job. Identify the context, role, constraints and output form before composing. Use only the supplied task and permitted context. This is a noninteractive test: resolve unspecified creative choices consistently within that brief, without asking questions, inventing author preferences or claiming human approval. Complete openings, revelations and endings yourself; leave no author-fill placeholders. Use supplied names consistently; where names are needed and none are supplied, create names appropriate to the setting and keep them consistent. Do not import examples or lore from other projects. Design before polish. Explore alternatives beyond the first obvious idea; combine useful parts rather than accepting stock premises whole. Return only the requested number. Give ideas enough conflict and consequence to sustain their intended length. Ground the world in material circumstances, institutions and competing interests; reveal only what the task needs. Where powers exist, establish capability, limits, intelligible cost and social consequences before using them. Do not use memory loss as a newly invented magical cost or add convenient exceptions. None of this licenses magic in a non-fantasy task. Build people and causality. Give central characters specific wants, fears, contradictions, leverage and reasons for their choices. Distinguish voices through attention, occupation, experience and blind spots, not catchphrases. Make events cause subsequent events. Plan the beginning, turning points and ending; connect each payoff to an earlier observable setup. Each beat changes an objective, relationship, risk or available choice. Preserve supplied outcomes. For outlines, state events and consequences clearly rather than withholding the ending for suspense.
