Writing The Power of Detours taught me one of the greatest lessons of my life: over-functioning is not the same as faithfulness. For years, I believed being strong meant carrying every burden, solving every problem, and making sure everyone else was okay before I took care of myself. My detour showed me that God never asked me to be everyone’s source—only to trust Him as mine. Today, I’ve learned that true leadership isn’t doing it all; it’s knowing when to surrender, receive help, and allow God to work through others. I no longer measure my worth by how much I carry, but by how faithfully I walk in the purpose God has given me.

My question for all of you is do you have an author website? Is that something important to have as you build your business as an author, consultant, speaker? Anyone have website hosting they recommend?

I use Streamyard to produce my podcast content. The recording always shows I'm looking away, which I'm not. Any ideas as to I can solve this problem?
