Mixing random stash. 🤪

I am torn about my roped edge - the yarn is beautiful wool from Gotland, Sweden, but it is handspun, and so the thickness varies a lot, especially as it is being held double. Variation is from fingering to worsted, if I had to guess. I picked my entire color palette to try to use that yarn, and though gotland wool will loosen and drape a lot when blocked, I am thinking it will be too thick in the body, but it is such a tough decision. Experimenting is so fun!

Actually, I was pretty sure that I wouldn't knit the cardigan version (after 3 cardigans in a row)...... When casting on, I spontaneously changed my mind and am now very happy with my decision. It gives me great pleasure to see the knitting grow. So far, I am happy with my choice of colours – even if the amount of red shades I have prepared will be just enough. My stash will certainly be able to help me out there... ;-)
