Tournament Announcement: ♟️ Blunder Fest with Friends! Who: U1900 on Lichess We’re battling on Lichess at 7pm Central (Dec 19) with $25 in prizes — $15 for 1st, $10 for 2nd. Anyone can join the arena link, but only members of this community are prize-eligible — so bring friends! Berserk + streaks ON. See you on the board! No entry fee. Link provided in the calendar tab: Please Read Terms: To be eligible for prizes: 1) You must join the LiChess Link & Comment your username below for LiChess. 2) Play at least 5 Rapids games prior to Entering on LiChess (requirement for entry) 3) No Rating Manipulation 4) Subject to FairPlay Rules 5) Payout will be 14 days after conclusion of Tournament to allow for FairPlay Review. If FairPlay violation, no payout. Keep it fun and no cheating. Tournament will move from private to public a week before the tournament. So, let's get Pre-Registered. Omg the time of day is perfect but I'm going to be commuting back to Toronto that day for Christmas. Such a bummer

Chess.com or Lichess?
Which platform do you prefer and why? P.S. (I plan to announce the next tournament soon)

I prefer lichess but I typically play chesscom because of the rating system being more respected which I realize is a dumb reason. I think lichess is better especially if you aren't paying for diamond chesscom. I have platinum and still say lichess

How everyone Chess week this last week? I’ve been quite busy the last couple weeks but hoping to get back to the grind and prepare for our upcoming tournament!

Going pretty well I'm up 50 elo this week in rapid and back to 1783. I'm 6-0 as white and 2-1-2 as black. Usually a really good sign if I'm even as black

@Justin Davito nope lol. Just try to play at least one rapid a day and analyse it. Maybe some puzzles and now I use chessly a bit here and there
