Hello Odygoat, I really enjoyed your videos where you vod review your own high elo vods. Like the one you uploaded on youtube (alongside your 2 other ones) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGiDIY2viEs I was hoping maybe we could get another one of these, because it was incredibly informational and unique. I just personally enjoy watching my rank 1 goat analyze his own vods and explain plays that I personally dont see 30 seconds from now.

Unplayable matchups
What do u actually do against champs like zoe/leblanc these two champs are going to make me quit playing mid. Its so disgusting. No matter what I do, its wrong.Ive played against 500Lp master Ahri/viktor/syndra anything players and dominate them but face me against a Emerald 1 Zoe/Leblanc and I will go 0/10 in lane. I tried playing it differently, play for push, give push and play safe, roam anything and it always just ends up the same. I swear these matchups are legit making me want to quit playing mid and swapping back to jgl and playing Tali jgl or just swapping to my old mains. I have like 300-400 games on taliyah thus far and these matchups are just always insta lost from min 1 of the game.

These are 2 matchups where if you misposition and get hit by their E you most likely just die. You most likely overstep when your cooldowns are down giving them E angles causing you to die. I have a video vs zoe at 'in the mind of a challenger' , Ill pay extra attention to make one vs Leblanc in the future you can check the taliyah spreadsheet too where theres a summary of each matchup

Bloodletter's Curse
Hey Ody, I wanted to ask about Bloodletter’s Curse as a second item on Taliyah, or maybe on champs like Hwei and overall item thoughts, especially when there are mages bot (syndra, viktor) . and the stats seem really good (+65 AP, 15 AH, 400 HP). I kinda struggle second item on Taliyah in particular. What do you think? ty for the answer, and GL in Korea ❤️

its a strong item, especially when theres alot of magic damage in your team - the HP makes it feel good as a 2nd item too

@Gabriel Sabol usually a high ap item to compensate for low ap bloodletters - dcap shadowflame zhonyas etc, can also do cosmic or rylais but you'll have very low ap this way

Theory behind itemization
Hello Ody, I have a question specifically tied to Rabadon’s. I noticed that you tend to build this item at different stages on different games, some games its your third, some 4th or even 5th. I guess two little questions, is Rabadon’s not that crucial on Taliyah? And if there’s a reason besides the fact that maybe you just based on the gold you have, what is it? hey, thank you. Rabadons depends on bases and just on what I or the team needs. If i get good bases for raba and im in no need for early magic pen or defensive items like zhonyas I will build it earlier than other games. I take into account how much damage we have as a team as well and if its really necessary to Prioritize damage over safety. Its not a core item early on but it is the best scaling item for mages so that's why its always a great buy, just most games you don't get the best bases for it or you need other stuff first especially the higher elo you get since people itemize more MR and play their engage accordingly (so u need to buy zhonyas then)

Ody when you get a team that is super aggressive, do you adapt to them or continue playing your own playstyle?
I just wanna play my own game, farm, do objectives, but for example my most recent game they perma fight at any moment, briar popping ult after spawning, giving enemy fizz 3 kills and ruining my lane at 7 minutes. Voli trying to 1v5 at any point of the game, im just confused on what my role should be in the game.

Soloq is wild and unpredictable so just playing your own style will be difficult to do unless your gigafocussed not giving af about external factors. Personally I adapt to what happens on the map, dropping waves can be worth it but its hard to say when its the 'correct play' and it mostly comes down to experience. Most important thing you can do if you really wanna play your own style and not adjust: Be aware of what the enemy mid wants to do and when he moves make sure to communicate really well to your teammates what he's doing. In chaotic games like this just look for 'good' opportunities/fights, if you enter a fight and it feels unplayable or losing - just don't take it
