God as the Compass 🧭
As part of my reading for the built on purpose challenge… I always read my daily devotions anyways but wanted to share the one from today ❤️. I often think a lot of my lessons only come through big moments, major failures, or drastic life changes. Today’s reading reminded me that God “schools” us everyday rather it’s through conversations, delays, unanswered prayers, relationships, or even discomfort. Sometimes the lesson isn’t about changing our situation…It’s about changing how we see God in the middle of it. Anything he’s putting us through is for good in the end. Think about everything you’ve been through rather big or small and how God carried you through it although in the moment you had no idea how it would work out. Even when we don’t get the answer we want when we want it..we’re never without guidance!!! ❤️🙏🏽 Look at life through understanding, grace, and knowing he’s there to guide you through the day. God is a compass we should use daily/keep in our hand to direct us.

Welcome and Thought of the Day!!!!
Happy Friday Everyone!!!! Let’s Welcome our new members!!!! We are elated to have you all apart of the HBL Community 🥳 Scripture of the Day: Psalms 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God” Often times we rush into our goals and reflect on where it is we want to be, but haven’t reached yet. We end up beating ourselves up because the truth is, we all want more, and many of us may not be where we want to be. However, God teaches us to pause and listen to his voice FIRST. Begin your vision or goal with STILLNESS! Allow God to be with you before making the jump. 🙏🏽 Reflection: What would this season of your life look like if you listened to the voice of God first instead of rushing into your visions or goals?

Great Question and the Lord is so awesome this connects with what my pastor taught us which was that before we do anything we need to get permission from God and this season of my life things will have been a lot different but I’m thankful for His grace because he made up for the missed times that I’ve had
Temple Accountability ✅
Use this thread to post your daily accountability for the fitness challenge (see other pinned post for workouts.) Accountability can either be a pic with you in it (or not it can be just of the paper if you having a rough day 🤣) saying “done” or “completed” or a video but it NEEDS to have the day you’re on included regardless !! It can be a video of you doing part of the workout or after as long as you’re speaking/saying the day so everyone knows it’s not old lol. I’ll put 2 basic examples and do a video in the comments when we’re done with day 1 but point is … post SOME type of proof you’re present for the day! There is no right or wrong way just something showing YOU HERE. 💪🏽 This will also be for motivation 🔥 LETS GO 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️! And YES if you disappear and locked in or lock in wherever we hitting you up lol. STAY ACCOUNTABLE! You got this!!! And don’t post PLEASE if you didn’t actually workout lol DO NOT PLAY YOURSELF ! Be authentic. Be proud of yourself at the end of your 30 days!
