Creating my first digital product! šŸ¦‰10%šŸ”‹
I am currently working on an online course to teach the R programming language to beginners. It will be called R-beginner-bootcamp and students will learn how to create a report/analysis and share it online within a week. There will be 6 modules with 3-5 mini lessons and I already have the outline done. Each module will only be 1-2h so students could finish it in one week. šŸ“ The goal of this post to keep accountable. Now that I know what my next steps are I want to make daily progress and report how far I have come. I should be able to launch the whole things within 1-2 weeks if I really focus on it. šŸ’” I want to launch it as a free beta test with mostly text instructions but also some videos and ask for feedback about which parts need more explanations in form of videos and what topics are missing. ā“ What I am not sure about is whether I should sell it (what price range?) or use it as a free course but change my community to paid. I also want to promote it on my YT channel (5k subs). Any suggestions? I already read the "How to create a course" course in the classroom by Heather but I am reading through it again while producing the lessons. I like the GPTs she recommended there and I make use of AI to bounce ideas back and forth. Let's get to work šŸ’Ŗ
