Sometimes it’s what you don’t do that speaks volumes. I was actually supposed to be in a collaborative book with some very famous people last year, but when I realized they were religious fundamentalists and uber conservatives, I withdrew my chapter.I didn’t align with the vision and realized it was better for everyone for me to not participate. Most people will never know about the things you didn’t do, and you will then go uncelebrated for making the right choice for yourself. Congratulations!!! What’s something you’re glad you didn’t do?
