🎥 REPLAY: THE RESPONSIBILITY TRAP
Yesterday’s Insight to Action conversation is now available in the Classroom under the recordings section. We explored what happens when being capable, reliable and willing to help gradually turns you into the person who is expected to carry everything. The conversation covered: 🌱 Healthy responsibility versus over-responsibility 🌱 Becoming the default problem-solver 🌱 The identity attached to being dependable 🌱 Why stepping back can feel uncomfortable 🌱 Boundaries, delegation and shared ownership 🌱 Supporting others without taking over their responsibility As you watch, consider this: What are you currently carrying because it genuinely belongs to you and what are you carrying simply because people know you will? Watch the recording in the Classroom and share your biggest insight below. 👇 Classroom Link

This is such a good question @Tamzyn Wegrostek I'm careful with the commitments I make, because my word is my bond. So, one thing I carry, are the commitments I've made, to myself and other people. Something I used to carry was meeting the expectations of other people. I no longer do that.
What sits behind sustainable performance?
We often notice the visible result: the target reached, the confident presentation, the difficult conversation handled well or the plan successfully executed. What we don’t always see is everything supporting that moment. Sustainable performance is built through: 🌱 Awareness of your patterns and responses 🌱 Capacity to manage greater demands 🌱 Structure that supports consistent action 🌱 Experience earned through practice and setbacks 🌱 The ability to adapt when the original plan stops working This is also where the value of coaching extends beyond the time spent on a call. The conversation is where the work is delivered, but the deeper value lies in the questions, pattern recognition, perspective and ability to help someone identify what is truly affecting their performance. The visible result may happen in one moment. The person capable of creating and sustaining it is built over time.

The will to go on. That is my invisible strength, to push despite certainty @Tamzyn Wegrostek

🎥 REPLAY: THE PRICE OF BEING CAPABLE
This conversation became far more focused on boundaries than we initially expected. What made it particularly interesting was how differently the same questions landed for each of us. The discussion showed that boundaries are rarely only about saying no. They are also connected to identity, responsibility, reputation and self-worth. If you don’t have time to watch the full replay yet, choose one question and share your perspective: 1. What did achievement first give you? 2. Who are you when the role, title or result changes? 3. Are you carrying something because it matters, or simply because you can? 4. Which boundary feels like a threat to your reputation? 5. Are you solving the problem, or training everyone to bring it to you? 6. Can you rely on yourself to act on what you already know? There are no perfect answers. The value lies in noticing how you interpret the question. Watch the replay here: REPLAY LINK Which question stood out to you, and why?

This is going to be an amazing session ✅
#IntentionalAction
One of the most useful questions I have learned to ask myself is not, “What else should I learn?” It is: “What do I already know that deserves action?”
