I've been a sales manager in the car wash industry for a few years now, and honestly? Most of the places I worked were run poorly. Bad management, poor sales, teams that constantly turned over—or all of the above. I had a ton of ideas and theories on how to fix things. I implemented some, but I couldn't afford to open my own wash to test them all. So I did the next best thing—I went around to every car wash owner I could find and asked: What do you do? How do you do it? Why does it work? I took everything I learned, combined it with proven frameworks from other industries, and either tested it in real washes and documented what actually worked (that's what you'll find in the Classroom tab)— OR, with the assistance of car wash owners around the world, I crafted theories and hypotheses that are yet to be tested.
