MIDI how do I get started
Iโ€™ve always wanted to produce from the instrument I love. Creating from that starting point. But there are few to non on options when it comes to using midi to create from the bass guitar. I donโ€™t mean just playing bass lines or bass sounds. Iโ€™m talking about creating melodies, chord structures, choruses, bridges, intros, outros, symphonies! Iโ€™ve seen it done with the JAM stick (midi guitar), of course from a keyboard, even from an electronic flute (EWI). I want to do this from the instrument I feel most comfortable with. How to re-arrange harmony to make a completely different composition through the instrument I love.

@Chris Boyd I'm sure it won't be hard for you at all!! They say you can use logic and other DAWs so if you're familiar with your DAW the learning cure should move quick. The only time consuming thing I see is just learning how to move through sound choices which again maybe easy to learn.
