H2O, seems simple but choosing water over soda, juice or sweet tea makes me feel so much better throughout my days! Making that little choice is a win for me 3-6 times a day. When I win on what I drink. I can build that into more wins for the day!

@James Harper having a guide to a different perspective or a way another person solved a difficult situation can give you the opportunity to gain clarity and have new ideas and tactics to face your own challenges and difficulties. Felling better is always better for your soul!

My three habits are: 1. Control the Inputs 2. Protect your focus 3. Keep The Promise The minimum standard for each habit is: 1. No work phone 1st 30 minutes awake, control what I’m feeding my mind by staying off social media, messengers/inbox and short videos on apps Monday - Friday. 2. At 11 each day set aside 20 minutes to read on emotional intelligence. No phone after 8 PM to optimize my morning plans and goals for the next day. 3. Keeping the promise to not smoke in the morning or the day time. These habits matter to me because: I want to gain more focus to my life and career. These habits will make me a better person. For the next 23 days, I am committing to becoming someone who: stays the course, avoids distractions and keeps the promise!

@Russell Grayson controlling your breathing allows you to gain a grip on what you are feeling. Channeling that with exercise is fantastic to build a routine of how to maximize the breathing technique and feeling that build up to where you can notice earlier.

My impulses are becoming less loud in my head now that I’m staying positive and not taking it personal. This is from building that pause before I respond, the legit listening instead of just thinking of a response, and the intent to better my reactions and thoughts.

The habit of telling my self every morning to live with intent has been a great way to get me on track and focused on the goal from the jump in the mornings. Gives me the mindset to stay on target and keep the promises to myself!

I am a father of a 13 girl, a husband of 2 years. An entry lever manager that seems to get stuck at the entry and low intermediate roles.
