Welcome to The Aviary!
I are so glad to have you here in the forge-born hub. This specific chat is the designated space for the "random and fun" think of it as the social heart of the forge. While our other chamber chats focus on the structured library of resources and conversations for independence and autonomy, this channel is all about: - Casual Conversations: Share what is on your mind, from your latest win to a random thought. - Fun & Games: Whether it is trivia, word games, or just a great meme, this is the place for it. - Connecting: Get to know your fellow community members in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. Jump in, say hello, and let’s keep the good vibes soaring! To start things of lets see what everyone shares in common. Below are some other passions of mine. Let’s see which ones we share.

I enjoy classic Disney movies, usually the less known ones. My favorites are Treasure planet and brother bear although if I could find any 2d animated Disney movie I will try to collect it. I also like board games and enjoy playing chess.
A Bit About Me
Hello! I am the Founder of the Forge. My background is rooted in Applied Anthropology, a field that focuses on how people interact with systems and each other to solve real-world problems. This site is the culmination of my interest in how we can better organize our knowledge to build stronger, more connected communities. A significant part of my perspective is shaped by being born with Sturge-Weber Syndrome, a condition that exists on a broad spectrum and presents in varying degrees for different people. While my experience is on a less extreme scale, it shares similarities with the autism spectrum, epilepsy, those with visual impairments, and those with Cerebral Palsy. Navigating the world through this lens particularly here in Southern California has given me a unique appreciation for adaptability and accessibility. This is a core reason for my deep love of storytelling and professional sports. I am especially drawn to the sports world for the way it highlights and celebrates the differently abled, showcasing how passion, uniqueness, and skill can thrive in every aspect of life. I built this community because I believe that mastery is not just about what you know, it is about how you organize that knowledge and share it with others. When I am not developing the four chambers, I am dedicated to balancing my personal passions with a consistent drive for growth. I hope Project Phoenix becomes a place where you can do the same. I am looking forward to seeing what we build here. Let’s make it happen.

I think it's neat that you have built a site for people to connect and better understand how to live with sturdge weber. I am hoping to maybe find some information that could help me with my independence, along with meeting new people and making new friends :)
