Hey there, I’m Natalie, I’m 47 and a Mum a carer of my 15yo son with autism (non verbal) and 13yo daughter who has autism (talks a lot like me). TLDR Yes I am giving my son some sips of raw milk and he is now eating cooked meat and dairy (he wasn’t having anything from animal products whatsoever). I’m working on him, I am going to add honey and make the milkshake for him to sip. He thinks it’s medicine not a drink 🤦♀️ I am keen to see the guides oj feeding growling children. My daughter believes she is lactose intolerant, like I was, so I am trying to convince her to have the milk. She has runny yolk eggs but doesn’t want to eat raw meat. Their father is a vegan but we are long time divorced. I used to be a vegan from 23-35yo for 11-12 years, and I have struggles with gestational diabetes when pregnant with my daughter, but I have managed to keep carbs in control to not get diabetes (metabolic disorder). I now buy all free range and pasture raised, non farmed fresh fish, organic produce, etc. I had B12 deficiency that I never have really recovered form and mental health issues after having my daughter, which are now resolved without anti psychotic meds anymore. My mother passed away 5 years ago at 67yo from Dementia, so that is part of what brings me to the diet as well as my son who’s diet has been pretty much vegan SAD crackers and sugar and water. So I want to help him as well as myself and my daughter. I do have a boyfriend and he likes the milkshake plus has protein powder and raw milk, he doesn’t think I should eat raw meat but he knows I do and has teased me about “enjoy your parasites” but since then he asked for the raw egg milkshake so he’s getting better about it. I tell him about sashimi and steak tartare. He won’t eat the oysters I get even though I tell him it’s good for his hair. I have seem numerous improvements in my health since transitioning to raw primal diet. I had my hair falling out, dry skin, overall dryness everywhere, asthma, losing my periods, bloating, some high blood sugars (and low ferritin and low triglycerides) although the doctor won’t let me test it again yet). And so I improved on all of this, it’s all changed to the better and I now have dreams again, I sleep better, moisture everywhere, my periods returned to 5-7 days long and normal (they were light and 2-3 days).
