There’s a version of survival mode that doesn’t look chaotic. It looks like: - Being the reliable one. - Staying calm no matter what. - Managing your reactions carefully. - Explaining yourself before anyone questions you. For some of us, survival didn’t look like crisis. It looked like adaptation. Easy adaption. And adaptation can become identity if we’re not careful. Awareness doesn’t mean something is wrong.
