AI with Dola
I can’t draw, paint pretty but I know what I like. So, this is how I while away some free time to chill. So these are some ideas I’ve had. I want to make a feature of my 5th wall, but I don’t necessarily have the time to paper them all. My idea, is create a frame and paper inside of it where the light fitting is. Chandeliers are not optional but essential! Pick a colour from the paper, must be dark obviously and colour drench the room with its own theme. Only problem is my lack of wording requests to get the correct results. It’s a journey lol

The last one is something I’m trying to mock up using AI so it gives me an idea of how it’ll look pulled together. It’s more elaborate than I had in mind though! I think the very central part but rectangular would be the easiest to do. Width of wallpaper or 2 if it works better and twice the length as the width at least and voila! I’ve a beautiful central background for my chandelier!

@Kelly Huskins I’m going to print off lots of the birds. I think a bronze background as opposed to a gold one would go better with the wallpaper I’ve in mind ☺️ then…. Canvases need some mixed media attention. I feel a calling for a dark and moody winged lady!
Did you know I like to storytell?
Fun fact about me… I don’t just create designs… sometimes I accidentally create or share entire stories with them too 😏 Not all of them. Just the ones that tap me on the shoulder like, “hey… we’re not finished yet.” “Velvet Ruin” did exactly that. Is my writing perfect? Nope. Does it hit something real? Yep. Did I resist the urge to rewrite it 47 times and just let it be what it is? Miraculously… yes, and that MATTERS! Here's her story: Velvet Ruin They called her broken long before she ever believed it. Not in loud ways. Not in words thrown like stones. But in glances that lingered too long… in silence that arrived too quickly after she spoke… in the way people stepped carefully around her, as if she might shatter simply by being seen. So she learned the art of becoming smaller. She softened her voice. Folded her wings inward. Wrapped herself in something dark and beautiful so no one would notice the cracks beneath. Velvet. It was easier that way… to be seen from a distance than understood up close. But ruin has a way of speaking. Not all at once. Not in chaos. But in quiet, persistent echoes that say: This is not who you are meant to be. And one day… she listened. Not to them. Not to the world that mistook her depth for damage. But to the low, steady rhythm inside her chest that had never once agreed with the story she'd been given. She stood. Not dramatically. Not loudly. But fully. And when she unfolded her wings, they were not delicate like they remembered. They were vast. Dark. Unapologetically her own. There was no moment of becoming whole again. No clean return to what she once was. Because she wasn't meant to be restored. She was meant to be rewritten. And in that rewriting, in every fracture, every shadow, every scar she refused to hide… She became something far more dangerous than perfect. She became real. Not velvet to be touched. But velvet that remembers what it survived. And ruin? Ruin was never her ending. It was the place she learned

@Kelly Huskins funny how life does this! I agree with that sentiment however and have found over the years I’ve connected with people at first glance, seem a world apart. More in common where it matters x
✨ WTF Wednesday is back… and honestly, I have questions.
Like… how did we go from a cozy giraffe in a beanie… to a bunny born from a cracked fairytale… to a farmhouse chicken living her soft life… to a lighthouse that feels like it’s holding secrets… to a bird that looks like it flew straight out of a watercolor daydream… Because creativity doesn’t follow rules. It follows curiosity… chaos… and those little sparks that say “This doesn’t make sense… but I LOVE it, and down the rabbit hole we go.” 🎨 This week’s downloads are your permission slip to: • mix styles that “shouldn’t” go together • create something just because it feels good • stop overthinking and start making So tell me… 👉 Which one are you grabbing first? 👉 And what are you turning it into? Because around here… We’re not here to make sense. We’re here to create magic. ✨ You can download them all HERE!

My little owl table
If you haven’t already guessed, my bedroom is all my craft room for the smaller pieces I can man handle myself. Soooo many pieces waiting to be next stepped, like the drawers, the wardrobe, the China display cabinet. I’ll get to it. Today, I did this. The end lol

@Jules Laz the cheval mirror is destined for the back of my bathroom door to bounce all that south facing sun back around the room. The colour is burn black light by Sanderson paint and I’m in love 🥰 I’ve also a few smaller mirrors to go in as well as my bathroom is very gothy moody damasky and fabulous lol still on the hunt for different smaller mirrors to add to my mirror gallery wall as I’ve a lot of space to fill. I’m planning to decoupage the bathroom cabinet once I get round to priming it. Too many projects and not enough hours in the day lol
Bursting at the seams!
I have been trying to work on projects that have been in a holding pattern-some for as long as five years. I was gifted this table roughly two years ago and what a hot mess! Someone decided to spray paint it. Not once but twice. First it was a neon lime green, then the blue you see in the photo. I loved the shape and style but never found anything I thought “suited” it. That was until the new Whimsykel designs dropped! I loved Moody Blooms the moment I laid eyes on it and knew just what needed to be done. Just waiting on the hardware to arrive then this jewel will be for sale on my site. Thank you @Kelly Huskins for sharing your talents and for providing me the inspiration to share mine!
