Which form of ‘you’
On the flashcards they seem to suggest using the familiar (Tu) form of you. This doesn’t seem right as it would be much more likely to use the formal usted conjugation (unless you’re really friendly with someone). What am I missing?? Wouldn’t it be better to show both forms as correct? I’d think you’re much more likely to be out-of-line by assuming the friendly form than being too formal in conversation. Yes?

I find this enough of a problem to be ready to abandon this program. Here in Mexico it is rude to use the familiar form unless the person is a family member or good friend. I don’t want to learn the wrong way of addressing someone, especially when it may set me up to say something considered inappropriate. At least either form of the conjugation should be accepted as correct! Very frustrating.
A little confused
Why, when you go through a list of words and eventually get them all right, do you still get a grade of c or d? It would seem to make more sense to get a new score each time you go through the list rather than it averaging all your attempts. When it averages your attempts you can’t document improvement. Am I not understanding something?
