My November Book Is…. 🥁 🌟😉👏🏼
📚 Ladies, what are we reading? I’ve decided I want to end my days with something fun, funny, and uplifting! My next bedtime read is The Switch by Beth O’Leary. A grandmother and granddaughter swap lives, and it sounds like my kind of book. I’m officially making bedtime reading my little escape from the craziness of the world. But I have ONE rule (for me only, read what pleases you) Uplifting Only. No depressing stories. No emotional roller coasters. Life gives us enough material without paying for more. 😂 So tell me, ladies. What’s the last book that made you smile, laugh, or just feel good? Let’s build ourselves a fabulous reading list! 📚💕 https://link.amazon/B0d2yr4jM What’s your preferred method of reading?

Anxious For Nothing by John MacArthur.
❤️Hi, I’m Christi and it’s So Nice to Meet You!
It’s been a minute… Some of you know me as the Long Distance Mimi, but there’s a little more to my story! I’m 67, married to Mike, mom to Mikey and my daughter Janelle, whom we lost to cancer in 2001 when she was just 17. I’m also Mimi to Carter and Chloe, who live in Nebraska while we’re in beautiful Washington State. I love traveling, learning, trying new things, and figuring out what I want to be when I grow up. Still working on that one! A little about my professional background. I’ve spent more than 25 years working in adult learning, personal development, and behavior change. I’m certified in Tiny Habits, CliftonStrengths, coaching, and change management. I also graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University at 53. Yep, I’m a lifelong learner! Here’s what I believe. We can keep growing, changing, making friends, and having adventures at ANY age. And I know a thing or two about helping people turn good intentions into action. I’m not a therapist. I’m a guide on the side who believes we learn by DOING. We try things, see what works, and adjust. Because failure is data! That’s what I want Reignite Your Life to be. A place for friendship, fun, adventure, new ideas, and women who aren’t done living their lives! You can love your family deeply AND build a life of your own that you love. ❤️ Now, let’s hear about YOU! What’s something you’d love to try, do, or experience in this chapter of your life? Christi ❤️ Your Long Distance Mimi

Thank you Christi! I’m a 58‑year‑old USAF veteran who served during Desert Shield and Desert Storm, later spent years in law enforcement, and now I’m a wife to a fellow veteran, mom to two amazing daughters, and Nana to twin tween boys who keep me laughing. I’m very outdoorsy—off‑roading in my lifted Jeep, hiking, and gardening are my happy places. I’m also working on the second book in an adventure series I write and illustrate for my grandsons. As well as run my own business. Because of my career paths and frequent moves, I haven’t had many chances to build close female friendships, and I’m hoping this chapter of life brings more connection with women who value honesty, strength, and fun.
Welcome! 🤗
What's ONE thing you've been putting off that you'd love to do in this next chapter of your life?

The one thing I’ve been putting off is giving myself space to step into a new season of renewal. I want to focus on what brings joy, reconnect with meaningful parts of life, and move forward with a lighter, more intentional spirit.
LADIES, I’M CURIOUS! ❤️
We’ve had a bunch of new women join us, and I’d love to know a little more about everyone. Which best describes you? No matter what brought you here, I’m glad you found us. And buckle up, ladies. We’ve got some living to do. 🌎

I currently live within 2+ hours of adult kids and tween grandkids. The grands currently spend long school breaks with us. Where we live is very expensive, we are contemplating a move that will put us around 20+ hours away, it will be better for us financially. Personally, it‘s a difficult decision because we are the main support system for our grands and the visits will not be as frequent and limited to when we are able to make the trips back to see them.

@Christi Perillo staying put will continue to severely limit us financially. We’ve already giving up many hobbies we once enjoyed due to rising costs. Adding to our increased desire to leave is that our neighborhood is in decline, cost of living is not sustainable on a fixed income, and the house we are in is not senior friendly (multiple levels and lots of stairs). We looked at other areas closer to the grands and while finding a ranch level is easier they are priced way out of our reach not only in house cost but utilities, and insurance (high fire danger, and high hail/wind damage in this state). As for bringing the grands on the long breaks, we could afford to do so however there is a catch that until resolved the grands cannot leave the state. The area we are considering checks almost all of our retiree living and amenities we enjoy doing boxes.
