Meaning of love .
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for this new morning and the gift of Your unfailing love. As Your Word teaches in 1 Corinthians 13:4–7, love is patient and kind; it does not envy or boast, it is not proud or rude, it is not self-seeking or easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Lord, I thank You that perfect love comes from You, for You are love (1 John 4:7–8). Fill my heart today with Your presence so that I may reflect Your character in every thought, word, and action. Father, I ask for the grace to love like Jesus loved. Teach me to walk in humility and gentleness, bearing with others in patience (Ephesians 4:2). Help me forgive quickly, just as You have forgiven me, and clothe me with compassion, kindness, and humility (Colossians 3:12–14). Remove selfishness and pride from my heart, and shape me into a vessel of Your peace. Lord Jesus, You commanded us to love one another as You have loved us (John 13:34–35). Empower me through Your Holy Spirit to live out this command daily. Let the fruit of the Spirit grow in me—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22–23). When I feel weak, remind me that Your love has been poured into my heart through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). Help me to rejoice in truth, endure with hope, and persevere in love, even in difficult moments. Shape my heart to value others above myself and to reflect the humble mind of Christ (Philippians 2:3–5). May my life be a testimony of Your transforming love. Thank You, Father, for loving me first and teaching me how to love. Let Your love flow through me today and always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Wife in ICU
My wife has a lot of health problems. She is on oxygen 24 hours a day. A couple of years ago she had blood clots in her lungs, and she also has diabetes. She has been dealing with many ongoing issues. Her oxygen levels have been too low, and she has been sleeping a lot. Today she became incoherent, so tonight we had someone bring us to the hospital because we do not have a vehicle. We are in a very difficult place financially and in many other ways. She has now been admitted to the ICU because her carbon dioxide levels are too high, or at least that is what they told me. I do not yet know the full situation, but I am asking for prayer. Please keep her in your prayers. Her name is Susie. Thank you so much.

We are bought by the blood of Jesus .
Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You this morning with a grateful and humble heart, acknowledging that my life is not my own, for I have been bought with a price. Thank You, Lord, for drawing me out of darkness and bringing me into Your marvelous light through the precious blood of Jesus Christ. I stand in awe of Your love that redeemed me, not with silver or gold, but with the life of Your Son (1 Peter 1:18–19). What grace, what mercy, what unfailing love You have shown to me. Father, as this new day begins, I offer my body, my mind, and my spirit back to You. Help me to glorify You in all that I am and all that I do, just as Your Word teaches in 1 Corinthians 6:20. Let my thoughts honor You, let my words reflect Your truth, and let my actions bring praise to Your holy name. Teach me to walk as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You (Romans 12:1). Lord Jesus, thank You for Your finished work on the cross. Thank You for the forgiveness, freedom, and new life I have received in You (2 Corinthians 5:17). I am thankful that I belong to You, that I am sealed by the Holy Spirit, and that my life now has eternal purpose (Ephesians 1:13–14). Strengthen me today to live in obedience, purity, and faithfulness, not by my own strength, but by Your grace working within me. Holy Spirit, guide me throughout this day. Lead my steps, guard my heart, and help me to choose what is right in Your sight. May my life today glorify God, who loved me and gave Himself for me (Galatians 2:20). I place this day in Your hands with thanksgiving and trust. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

Hold fast our confession of hope .
Good morning God Dear Heavenly Father, We come before You this morning with humble and grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of a new day and the hope we have in Christ Jesus. Your Word declares, “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful” (Hebrews 10:23). Lord, we cling to this promise today. Strengthen us to hold firmly to our faith, not only in easy times but until our very last breath. Father, as the days draw nearer to the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ (Hebrews 10:25), help us to remain watchful, faithful, and rooted in truth. Keep our hope alive and our faith aflame, just as Your Word says, “The righteous shall live by faith” (Romans 1:17). When our hearts feel weak, remind us that our hope does not disappoint, because Your love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). Lord Jesus, King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16), we worship You this morning. We surrender our lives afresh at Your feet. Fill us with Your grace and mercy, for we are completely dependent on You. Grant us divine power to live holy and faithful lives, standing firm in the truth of the gospel (1 Corinthians 16:13). Holy Spirit, lead us today. Guide our thoughts, words, and actions. Help us to seek You daily, to walk by the Spirit and not by the flesh (Galatians 5:16). Renew our strength as we wait upon the Lord (Isaiah 40:31), and help us to encourage one another in hope and love. We trust You, faithful God, and we commit our lives into Your hands. In the precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Hold fast our confession of hope .
Accept one another
Dear Heavenly Father, We come before You this morning with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of a new day and the breath of life You have given us. As Your Word says in Romans 15:7, “Therefore accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God.” We ask that this truth shape our hearts and guide our lives today. Lord, we acknowledge that apart from Your mercy and grace, we cannot live in unity or love one another as You desire. Cleanse our hearts and renew our minds by the power of the Holy Spirit. Teach us to receive others with humility, patience, and compassion, just as Christ welcomed us when we were weak and undeserving (Ephesians 2:4–5). Help us to remember that we are one body in Christ, called to live in peace and mutual love (Colossians 3:12–14). Father, we surrender our hearts completely to You this morning. Remove pride, judgment, bitterness, and division from within us. Fill us instead with the love of Christ that bears all things and seeks the good of others (1 Corinthians 13:4–7). Grant us divine power to forgive as we have been forgiven and to walk in grace toward one another (Ephesians 4:32). Lord Jesus, You accepted us fully through Your sacrifice on the cross. Let Your life be formed in us so that our words, actions, and attitudes bring glory to God (Galatians 2:20). May our lives reflect Your mercy, and may our fellowship testify to Your redeeming love (John 13:34–35). We commit this day into Your hands. Lead us in Your truth, strengthen us by Your grace, and help us live surrendered lives that honor You in all things. In the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
